The second one is the Exit-Signal, what I call the "follower" as it is positioned after the "pre-signal" protecting the Station Platforms.
The first one is the Entry-Signal, what I call the "pre-signal", positioned on the entrance to the Station. The second type of Signal, pre-Signals or Combo-Signals: Simply placed by clicking on the tile where you want them, first click will place 2-way Signal, can be passed both directions as that's how it faces, clicking again places a 1-way Signal in one direction and clicking again places a 1-way Signal in the opposite direction. The first type of Signal, the basic Block Signal: So lets have a quick look at the different Signals there are, the 3 main ones you will use are these: Something I should explain, "Block", a block is the section of track behind a signal and infront of the next signal along the track. įirstly though, Signals, we now have Path Based Signals, these have changed the way Stations can work, improved them heaps, especially efficiency.
As you probably have seen by in my Screenshots, there are stacks of ways to build these, I am not going to take you through every type, only the main ones, Terminus and Roll-On Roll-Off Stations.
There are a few different ways of doing these, but this is how I do them, depending on the situation and what is needed is how I build a Roll-On Roll-Off station.
